This decorative tape in the style of masking tape, designed by Shinzi Katoh, a miscellaneous goods designer and picture book author, uses banana paper, which protects people and biodiversity in Africa . Banana paper is a fair trade paper made by adding recycled paper or forest certified pulp to banana fibers taken from banana stems that would normally be discarded , and is connected to all 17 goals of the SDGs.
