Introducing a High Grade kit of the Infinite Justice Gundam Type II from the movie Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom!

The kit is equipped with a specialized internal structure "SEED Action System" for capturing iconic action poses from the film. Achieve the graceful "leg flexibility" seen in the series by adding a pivot axis to the legs. The model kit includes a lead wire for replicating the anchor's launching state.

The backpack boasts four individually movable wings, allowing for dynamic upper and lower expansion. Each wing also comes with beam effect parts for added flair. The backpack can also be detached for solo display. The silver parts feature a Real Metallic Gloss Injection material, enhancing their metallic luster. Additionally, it comes with effect parts that can be attached to the head for added customization.

Expert Review

The Infinite Justice Gundam Type II from the theatrical anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" has been released as an HGCE kit. At first glance the body looks similar to the original Infinite Justice, but it's an all-new mold — and the backpack in particular has been completely redesigned in a totally different style.

True to its polycap-less construction, the joints are stiff throughout but deliver excellent joint strength. There's a gimmick to spread the hip joints outward, plus a special gimmick to swing the side skirts aside — both of which make leg positioning a lot easier, and whatever pose you put it in, everything stays put nicely. The beam saber mounting gimmick on the side skirts has often been a weak point on other kits, but here you actually disassemble the side skirt and plug the grip inside, so it won't fall out easily.

Along with the various weapons, a good selection of beam parts is included as well. They can be attached to the head (Spitze Schwert Beam Horn), legs (Tonitrus Beam Juuzankyaku), wings (Beam Riser), and the Shining Edge Beam Boomerang detached from the shield. A wire is also included so you can deploy the Grapple Stinger built into the shield. On top of that, the backpack can be detached and configured as the separate flight unit Forantes — overall it does a great job of faithfully recreating the in-universe specs.

So all in all, this kit's strengths are its excellent overall looks, solid joints, and wide range of weapon recreations. The one criticism being leveled at it is that — much like the Mighty Strike Freedom — it doesn't feel visually distinct enough from the original unit. It's clearly a different design on an all-new mold, but the main body aside from the backpack just feels a little too similar to the Infinite Justice Gundam. That said, in terms of overall quality there's really nothing to complain about, so if you like the look of it, go ahead and grab one without hesitation. :-)
