Expert Review

EX-Standard No. 14 is Gundam Barbatos Lupus, and just like the Barbatos before it, this kit shares its body with the BB Senshi DX set. It stays true to the EX-Standard concept — simple assembly and a bunch of seals let you put together a clean, nicely proportioned SD Barbatos Lupus. The hollow-out issues are still noticeable and the shoulder joints do pop out easily, but visually it's a pretty cute little kit. The BB Senshi version, released as a DX set using the same body, even includes the assault landing ship Isaribi. So just like with Barbatos, if you just want the body, go with the EX-Standard version, but if you want a more complete package, the BB Senshi DX version is the way to go. :-)
