Expert Review

The White Gundam has been released as the 11th HG kit in "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX". Basically, HG Red Gundamit's a color variant kit that swaps the molded colors to the original Gundam coloring. A bazooka has been added as new tooling, and the side head sculpt has been subtly changed.

So for this review, you really just need to pay attention to the changed molded colors and the newly added bazooka. It's still an HG kit that feels very RG-like with its small, numerous parts, but it does show off a striking straight build coloring. The excellent articulation and joint strength carry over as well, though the somewhat stiff feel of the joints is unavoidable. As for the new bazooka, it's reproduced at a solid HG level with relatively few parts, and the articulated handle makes posing nice and easy.

So while it is essentially just a color variant + added weapon version, it has the appeal of that original Gundam color scheme. The base quality is pretty good, so if the style catches your eye, it's definitely worth picking up. :-)
